Prices will determined later but as always I will try to keep the cost of learning these traditional skills as low as possible.
Warm Glass - 2 Day (non consecutive)
An introduction to warm glass techniques including:
Tack fuse, full fuse, colour on colour, inclusions (metals, organic), relief with fibre paper, frits, confetti, stringers, slumping with ceramic moulds. Create a number of pieces to keep.
Mosaic - 2 Day
An introduction to the basic techniques of mosaic design, glass cutting, direct method of mosaic design and construction and grouting. Create a piece to keep.
Stained Glass - 1 Day
An introduction to the basic techniques of glass cutting, copper foiling and soldering creating a small piece to keep.
Teaching Days
Includes limited tuition, tea/coffee and equipment loan but not materials.
GENERAL COURSE INFORMATION
* Prices normally based on minimum 3 maximum 5 students but can be organised to suit smaller groups or individuals
* All course prices include materials and firings and loan of equipment
* Coffee / Tea and biscuits provided. Lunch can be found in our local taverna or bring your own to eat in the workshop courtyard.
* Artists are welcome to use the kiln at any time with firings being individually charged.
